I first approached Emily in 2009 to edit a collection of recordings of our software solution being used and to bundle them into a flash presentation. The editing was great, the flash with graphics, menus and all kinds of digital options terrific, so when we turned up to the largest Microsoft show in the world with Emily’s work all loaded on give-away USB sticks (instead of printed on paper brochures) we got a tremendous reception from all existing and potential business partners. We certainly had “Phat Solutions for Skinny Margins”. The next year we repeated the exercise with newer recordings, this time, Emily’s efforts let the world know we had “Seriously clever software – available everywhere”, to continuing acclaim. For both these exercises, that had to be completed to deadlines for shipment in time for the shows Emily breezed in, making adjustments for us the fussy client, even though she was expecting twins the first year, then mothering them and a two-year-old the second.
Tales for Canterbury
I asked Emily if she could design us a blog header, and image for Facebook. We gave her virtually no direction, but the artwork she came up with was so gorgeous that we asked her to design the cover for Tales for Canterbury as well. Emily was great to work with, very flexible and quick to make requested changes. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much, Emily!
Buttons and Bobbles
Emily was fantastic at designing what was in my mind into my logo and I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome. You make it so easy thanks, Emily!

NZ Work at Home Parents Showcase
“I recently set up the page ‘NZ Work at Home Parents Showcase’ first as a Blog page, and then Facebook. When the Facebook page had been up for a couple of weeks, Em emailed me asking if I would like her to design me a logo in return for some “word of mouth.” Well, as I was only just setting the page up and had no money to spend, you can imagine I jumped at the offer!!
Within the hour, Em had sent me through a questionnaire to fill out so she could get the best idea of what it was that I was after. I filled it out and sent it back and within a short while, she had her first ideas through to me.
My main requests were that I like purple and the logo needed to include a mum, dad, kid and laptop. Her designs all fitted perfectly within that, but being a bit of a perfectionist she sent me through quite a few edits before we decided on one we were both very happy with, with versions for Facebook and as a banner on the Blog site.
Em was fantastic to deal with, and when I get my real business set up I will definitely be returning for more design work!”
